Declaration of Energy Independence
When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve dependencies on outside power and oil, and to assume Energy Independence.
We declare today that we intend to become Energy Independent. We can no longer sit back and wait for our elected officials to decide how our nation will become Energy Independent. We realize that this undertaking may take years to accomplish. For the future of our families and our nation, we must strive towards the final goal of Energy Independence. This should not be considered an act of aggression towards any nation, person, or animal. We are declaring that we will do our best to convert our homes and transportation to a clean, renewable, and independent source of energy. We will also encourage, teach, and lend a hand to others that seek to achieve this independence for themselves.
